Welcome to St. Paul’s 2.0!

The Episcopal Church Welcomes YouWelcome! We’re glad you found your way to the new St. Paul’s website!

Here’s how it works…

Off to your left (and on the tabs across the top of the page) are some links to basic information about St. Pauls – who we are, what we do, etc.

In the right column, you’ll see some links to information outside of St. Pauls – official Episcopal Church sites, unofficial Episcopal blogs, Bible study resources, etc.

Here in the middle column is where you’ll find the latest happenings and goings-on at St. Paul’s. The newest items always appear at the top of the page (that’s how a blog works. Our new site is technically a blog. But please don’t let that frighten you!)

You’ll notice that each of the items here in the middle column have a link at the bottom that refers to comments. To leave a comment, click on it and follow the directions. If you’re new, you won’t see your comment at first. That’s because all first-time comments have to be reviewed by a site administrator (like me). We do that to guard against  spammers and other assorted mischief-makers. However, once you’ve had your  first comment approved, you’re considered “in” and you can then leave comments freely – and without having to get someone’s approval.

There’s other cool bells and whistles on the site that we’ll talk about down the road. For instance, you can vote in our poll…

Anyway, in the meantime if you have something you think belongs on the web page, feel free to email me at fergus48@gmail.com

Go in peace to love and serve the Lord!

  1. Matt the Mission & Outreach committee meetings have been changed to the second Tuesday @ 5:00 through June due to Deacon Bill and myself having scheduling conflicts with classes.

    • MaryLea–

Thanks! I’ve revised the calendar. Also…congratulations! I believe you’re the first person (other than me) to post a comment here. Keep ‘em coming!

      Matt

  2. Habitat for Humanity will be working on March 7 9:00-4:00 with A Catered Affaire providing box lunches. Please add to calendar. Next work day is March 21 same time.

  3. This website is outstanding! Thanks Matt! By the way does anyone know yet what the Easter Service times are yet? The youth group will be holding an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. It would be great to post that info on the website.

  4. My understanding is one service at 10am (rather than 9am and 11am). I am guessing there might be a sunrise service too, but I don’t know for sure. The calendar, however, shows 8am and 10am… So…?

    • Yeah…umm…take the Calendar with a little grain of salt for the moment. I simply just entered in everything that was on the old pdf calendar that was on the old site. Google Calendar allows you to add recurring events to the calendar automatically – so I did set it up so that 8:00 & 10:00 services would just always show up on Sundays. I hope to talk with Kathleen about the calendar tomorrow (I just created a login for her) – and will try to clarify Easter. Sorry about that.

Glad you like the new calendar, though!

      Thanks,

      M

  5. Man, someone really needs to vote for 8:00!

  6. I am grateful for your efforts on this website, Matt. It is really well done and useful. And I like having a place where I can make a comment now and then, shy soul that I am. :) I believe this will add to our effectiveness as a parish and I’m really glad you’re involved.

  7. the new site looks wonderful! thanks for making it so useful. getting ready to bookmark it now.

  8. Love the site! Thank you to Matt, Stephanie, Rick, and everyone else involved it getting it going.

  9. I think this sight is just great, it is another way to stay involved with Saint Pauls. The format is wonderful, its really easy to get around and I find that I don’t have to go divig back into my newsletter to see what is up & coming at church.

Thank you to all who were involved, great job.

  10. Kathleen,

Ernie Hedburg past away this past Sunday night so could you please put him in the appropriate place please? I’m not sure where to go in this website for help with this.

    Thanks,

    Jennett

The St. Paul’s Heritage link under Community works, but the links on the Heritage page do not.
