This past Sunday, July 5th, Father Ron Byrd announced that he has accepted a call and appointment to be the new “priest in charge” at St. Katherine’s in Williamston. Additional details will be provided in a general parish letter that will soon be mailed to the entire parish. Fr. Byrd’s last Sunday at St. Paul’s will be August 16th. On that day he will be the Celebrant and Preacher at both services. There will be a reception in his honor and to celebrate his ministry among us following the 10:00 am service. He will then take two weeks of vacation and begin his tenure at St. Katherine’s on September 6th. We will miss Father Byrd, but we know this is right for him and his family and that St. Katherine’s will be blessed by his presence.
