Pastoral Care

“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” John 13:34

As people of God, we are called into relationship to care for one another as we seek God’s presence, healing, and peace. Pastoral Care is a ministry committed to the well being of St. Paul’s members by intentionally meeting both the spiritual and life needs of sick, elderly or homebound members who are unable to attend worship services. Visiting, calling, delivering altar flowers, or writing cards all part of this ministry.

Every member of St. Paul’s can play a role in this ministry by checking in on members who have not been at worship services to let them know they are in our thoughts and prayers. We are Christ’s hands and heart in the world. This ministry gives us an opportunity to fulfill the role that Christ gave us, to love and serve our neighbors.
